Our DARE officer has to go back to school! All during each school year, the DARE program teaches our kindergarten through 5th grade school children at Merwin Elementary school to avoid drugs and violence. We've been doing it since the early 1980's! The 17-week program teaches self-esteem, responsibility, avoiding gangs, and teaches children the dangers of drugs.
