The Dan Diaz Recreation Center offers an indoor basketball court, game room, weight and cardio room, showers and locker rooms as well as various rental spaces.  All persons interested in utilizing this facility are required to complete a Registration Waiver, Biographical Form and provide a VALID California ID or Drivers License.  All minor applications must be done in person by a parent or legal guardian.  There is a $3 admission charge for access to our open gym (basketball court) and game room.  Use of the cardio and weight room require a monthly fee or annual fee. Irwindale Swimming Pool
  The Irwindale Swimming pool is open during the Summer months.  Our 25 meter swimming pool has two standard diving boards, one high dive and measures 3ft in depth in the shallow end to 12ft in depth in the deep end.  We also have a 1ft deep Wading pool that is perfect for the little ones.

All pool patrons are required to wear proper swim attire which includes a swimsuit for females, swim trunks for males and water diapers for children 3 and under.  Any child 6 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Rental Information

The Irwindale Recreation Department is pleased to offer a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that may be rented or reserved for your next special event or meeting.  Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and must be submitted no later than one week prior, to the Dan Diaz Recreation Center.  All fees and deposits are due at time of reservation.
